I am the daughter of a father who was in the Air Force and the widow of a Marine who had served in Viet Nam.  I have traveled quite a bit due to my father's career, but have lived in Florida for the last seventeen years.  As you might guess, this is home to me.  While my book, which is titled,  Thank You, Father, for the Lives of the Children, is totally fiction, the motivation behind it was the real life kidnapping of my son and four of his friends.  This had occured roughly four years ago.  I felt that maybe by writing about forgiveness and other things, that  I could help someone else who has gone through something that just didn't seem fair.  It was also a way for me to give a public "Thank you" to Father God.  While this is my first attempt at actually writing and having a book published, I would love to continue writing others as not only a career, but an effort to help others.  I never felt that I would be a person who was strong enough to go through the death of my husband and the kidnapping of my child without losing it, but as the old saying goes, What doesn't kill you will make you stronger."  This, with the help of Father God, has changed me by making me stronger.  I am writing to let you know that my new book "THE COST OF HIS SMILE: THE RAMBLINGS OF A DISAPPOINTED HEART" is now being released.  This book along with my first one can be purchased at PublishAmerica.com, Amazon.com, BooksaMillion.com, and Barnes&Noble.com.  The same is true of my first book, Thank You Father, for the Lives of the Children.  My newest release was written to open the eyes of the believer to a better "love walk" with mankind.  We as Christians are to be an example of Christ!
