Information
My major influences are my parents, who just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. I grew up relatively poor in St. Louis, but put myself through engineering school, spent 9 years in the communications equipment industry, went back and got my MBA and landed on Wall Street as the first semiconductor analyst to focus on the communications market.
And at the top of the market in 2000 I met the girl I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with. We fell in love, got engaged, started fighting, and then went to a therapist to try to resolve our problems. When I realized the therapist wasn't helping decided to tackle the problem myself.
So I researched, reading over 100 books, including nearly 2 dozen relationship books, and then wrote "Equality: The Quest for the Happy Marriage" which was published in December 2007.
I left my Wall Street career in January 2008 to focus full time on helping couples who truly want to resolve their relationship problems.
