I first got interested in writing back in high school. I "accidentally" fell into a creative writing class and loved it ever since. I have my first creative writing teacher, and my counselor who put me in the class, to thank for my writing start. Since then, I have had a few things published -- short stories and articles. I'm currently working on a novel and just recently, published a non-fiction book of creative writing exercises. My first love is and always will be fantasy. Give me a good sword-n-sorcery epic any day. My other genre loves are science fiction and horror.
