Momma and Me is a true story of my mother's and my simultaneously suffering through the discovery and treatments of our cancers, her's ovarian and mine breast. The memoir highlights our experiences during a six year period packed with laughter, sadness, fear and overwhelming love. I began the writing as a catharsis for my pain, but completed it as an offering for others who find themselves "having to cope."
