I grew up in your average dysfunctional family.  I'm still toting some of the baggage from my childhood.  Unfortunately my family couldn't afford air travel, so I never had the opportunity to lose my baggage.  Yes.......there were actually airplanes when I was a kid!

For me, writing offers a way to express myself unlike any other.
