I have been a huge fan of fantasy adventure since the early 1980's. I read mythology as a kid, J.R.R. Tolkien and R.A. Salvatore as a teen, and numerous other authors like Richard A. Knaak and Troy Denning since.
I started writing to cope with stress in the Army. I published my first book (1 APR 2009) after returning from Afghanistan. I found that as I suffered anger, fear, and frustration in combat my characters reflected my emotions.
