I write about the people, places and events I'm passionate about--British kings and queens, our Founding Fathers, trailblazers who've changed history and made the world a better place. The heroine in From Here to 14th Street, my 1894 New York City romance, is based on my great grandmother, a politician, businesswoman, wife and mother who was way ahead of her time.
