Debora graduated from Rutgers University in 1980 with a BA degree in Art Education. When the bottom dropped out of the teaching market, she entered the field of Graphic Design and has followed that career for over 25 years, including 5 years of packaging design.
Upon moving to New Mexico she became a one-woman Graphic Design department for a small printer, but her experiences with the culture shock of life in New Mexico as opposed to life on the east coast inspired her to write long, humorous missives to friends and family back east.
