I began writing approximately 10 years ago after the sudden deaths of my mother and infant son that happened Thirty-Three days apart in 1994. It was at the suggestion of my husband that I write about my experience, what I was going through in order that I might find healing through my writing. My first non-fiction book, "Never Say Goodbye," is about the short life of my infant son, Jalen and all of the trials and tribulations we went through even before his birth.
