Background & Major Influences:

Born in The Netherlands. Immigrated to Montreal (LACHINE) Canada in the 1969.

I have lived in 11 different countries, speak 5 different languages and have worked in Switzerland, Spain, The Sultanate of Oman and the United States of America.

The most adventurous employment of my 30 year teaching career was from 1981-1984 with The Flint School....on board two Tall Ships (TeVega/TeQuest) from 1981-84. My duties involved teaching English, Spanish and working as a Galley Bosun.
