Erin wrote her first short story, "The Girl Who Went Mad," when she was nine years old, and spent time tinkering occasionally with other stories as she matured. Still, she wasn't really thinking about a career in writting, in fact, her immediate plans following high school graduation were to either attend law school or college with a major in Literature.
