JL Coston is a native of Chester, Pennsylvania and founder of Joseph Dreams, Inc., a nonprofit organization serving at-risk populations. She holds a BSN from Howard University and MTS from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary. She was voted 1988 Nurse of Hope for the American Cancer Society in Delaware County, Pa. and served as a Medical Missionary in Kingston, Jamaica.
