Adrean had the privilege of growing up in the wide-open spaces of the Rockies/Plains region. During her school years, her family was part of a small neighborly community that was close knit yet welcomed strangers with open arms. In her youth, Andrea seized every opportunity to expand her understanding and gain more knowledge and skills. She participated in school and community bands, enjoyed hiking, biking, rappelling, fishing, boating, swimming, horseback riding, and many of the other outdoor activities the region had to offer.
