Since Lillian was a little girl growing up on the outskirts of a town of 83 in rural Missouri, she dreamed about writing and acting and moving to a "big" town. She would stand on the front porch of her farmhouse and speak to the field in front of her, pretending it was full of people eager to listen.  She still doesn't know how the dreams started since she had no TV until she was 13 and no role model.
