I am a graduate musician and was responsible for music and drama in a large English comprehensive school with pupils in the age range 11 - 18. Whilst teaching, besides composing music - musicals and church music - I also wrote plays and a great deal of teaching materials. Since retiring I have concentrated on writing fiction. I have written two adult books and ten books for teenage readers although they seem to be enjoyed as much by adults who appreciate the deeper meanings.
