Major was born Beverly Constance Shenae Love on April 26, 1990 in Moline Illinois. Shenae, as her family called her, moved to Memphis at the age of 4. Major is the youngest of 4 children. She says on many occasions that her life really didn't begin until the age of 14. This is when Major began facing some of the toughest obstacles of her life, including heartbreak, sickness, and the death of her mother.
