Although I have written poetry for 50 years, I never shared any of it until the past several years. I've never had any formal training in writing, except for honor English classes all through high school, but I have always been a fanatic about proper English usage, spelling, reading, etc. I read voraciously.

Major influences? I'm not a *major influence* person.... (:D I've read poetry all my life. I write about feelings, events, love, family, nature, spirituality, fantasy and humour.... do all those subjects bring to mind one common thing? - Life!!
