With a background in writing magazine articles, I figured, hey...I'm published. Writing fiction should be easy. Boy was I wrong! The greatest influence as I worked on the first two books in the new Twist of Fate series for almost sixteen years was attending conferences, taking workshops and joining writers groups.

I learned what works in magazine articles is generally a no-no in fiction. I also learned a bit more with each rewrite...seven in all, and from working with my editor.
