Crystal Tompkins, author of the LGBT children's book "Oh The Things Mommies Do! What Could Be Better Than Having Two?" is a longtime gay rights activist and promoter of equality. She has been involved in all aspects of the gay rights movement from the promotion of pride events, hosting LGBT music and art shows, to gay nightlife and literature.
