Jeanette Michelle first started as a poet - major in Business administration with a minor in communications. Her mother (Ruth) was her inspiration in persuing her writing career. She became a freelance writer in 2005 - 2007 writing for a local magazine, Women in Journey. She briefly frelanced as a 5 minute newscaster on the Hildeberg station in Nashville that ended after the birth of her 2nd child and illness on January 31st 2006.
