Judith McDowell is married with four grown son, Guy, David, Rhett and Nick. Judith lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband Darrell and their two Pekingnese dogs Tai and Chi, and three cats Isis, Lacy and Reefer.

When she is not working on a book, she and Darrell like to load up the motor home and head to different states and towns to talk with people about the paranormal. They find people are not shy when telling about their haunting experences.
