I come from a family of storytellers. As a child, I loved to hear my Aunts, Uncles, and Grandmother tell me stories of growing up and their experiences, real or fiction! I began writing at a young age. One of my earlier pieces was a poem about the apple tree in our backyard…I loved that tree! The love of reading also joined with my love of writing.
