I arrived in Arkansas twenty five years ago. My mother and I came down to get away from the winters. We started a florist business, and settled into the community. I had always been an artist, but oils and porcelain was my palette of choice. In Kansas, that worked fine. In Arkansas, it didn't. Took the oils too long to dry.
