As a young girl, I was influenced by writers like Maya Angelou, Alice Walker and Toni Morrison. As I matured in my writing I found a love for stories that inspire readers to escape into the complexities of life and be led on a journey to God. There is something wonderful about self-discovery, redemption and love.
