I've been writing since I was able to hold a pencil. I've been reading and enjoying books just as long. The major influence on my life was my mother who was an avid reader. We enjoyed our trips to the library immensely. They were magical experiences. It's not much of a surprise that I eventually became an English teacher and then a librarian. I love reading books as much as I do writing them.
