I started my first fantasy when I was about twelve after watching the cartoon version of "the Hobbit". I believe I named it "the Wizard's Sword". Never got past page one. then someone bought me the Lord of the Rings boxed set. From there Tolkien became my writing hero. But it wasn't until serveral inferior attempts that I finally decided to seriously explore my own world.
