In an old school room with inkwell desks, a snow flurry outside the school heralded a new writer. Writing became a way to escape the mundane world.

Although writing off and on since that sixth grade snow storm, Carla became serious about about writing and becoming a writer. After getting her AA at Valencia Community College, she continued her education to receive her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in English at University of Central Florida. She currently works full time at an international airport. She hopes to someday retire and become a writing consultant.
