Alvin Franzmeier - Born in rural southern Minnesota during the first one-third of the twentieth century, I experienced life around me change from a relatively simple rural way to the high-tech, complex, urban, pluralistic world of America today. Along with those outward changes, I saw many changes in the way people look at life, make decisions and express their beliefs. Today old values and principles clash in many arenas with the new.
