After a brief stay in the United States Air Force, I decided to go to college on Uncle Sam's nickle and get my degree in Creative Writing at the prestigious San Francisco State University.

My influences and favorites are many - Erle Stanley Gardner, Rex Stout, John Steinbeck, John Irving and Charles Dickens spring immediately to mind.
