Two teachers, Betty Witt and Dr. C. Rex Mix, taught me to love words, and my family tree is ripe with passionate love stories - ones for the ages - so I'm not sure I ever had a choice in what I would write. At the same time, it is very important to me to write stories that women can relate to. We aren't all size 2; we aren't all still in our 20s. And not all of us are necessarily looking for love when we find it. I want my stories to be fun beach reads, with a little something else to them.
