J.C. married her high-school sweetheart in 2005 and in 2010 she welcomed her son, who has changed her life and inspired her to live her dream of becoming a published author.

Besides writing J.C. loves spending time with family, reading and studying medieval, Egyptian, and American history, online gaming, and designing graphics.
