Reading Zane Grey and Louis L'Amour from an early age I was inspired to tell my own western stories I loved to read.  As I also read my mother's harlequin stories I thought a combination of both was my calling.  I grew up roaming the prairies on horseback, was near my first novel's setting - Canada's Civil War - the Riel Rebellion of 1885.  

I married a long-haul truck driver and enjoy travelling all over North America but especially those provinces and states west of the Mississippi.
