I've been a writer for most of my life, ever since an old teacher got me interested in Greek myths.  When most kids at that age wanted to go outside and play I wanted to sit down inside with a pencil and a piece of paper and write fantastical stories.  I didn't mind one bit.

My favourite authors are Terry Pratchett, Stephen King and Derek Landy.  Yes, a very diverse mix, but they're all writers with gigantic imaginations.  So they're just like me.
