I was born in MT Clemens Michigan and an only child.

I developed an interest in fantasy at a young age and became an avid role-player in play by post, tabletop and pc formats. I started writing in Jr. High school but after losing  three books to a crashed hard drive, gave up writing to pursue a more "practical" career in retail.
