I graduated from the Virginia School For The blind, and did further study at Lynchburg College, Lynchburg, VA. I later studied creative writing at the Hadley School, Winnetka, Illinois.
I won my first writing contest while still in grade school, and never looked back, selling my first piece in 1967. My work has appeared in numerous inspirational magazines, and in McFadden's
Woman's Group. I have written for Dialogue Magazine for the visually impaired for forty years, and currently write two bi-monthly columns for "Our Special" published by National Braille Press.
