Thirty-seven years as a writer for the bereaved, Joy and her husband, Dr. Marvin Johnson, founded Centering Corporation, a grief resource center and Ted E. Bear Hollow, a center for grieving children. Now she writes comedy myteries with the soul and knowlege of women who know what life is like and can still laugh till tears run down their legs.
