K E Page was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne but now resides in Sheffield where she studied for an MA in Contemporary Fiction and then a MPhil where her thesis was about masculinity and violence. She writes literary fiction that focuses on issues that surround sexuality and gender. 

Her literary influences are Andrew Holleran, Neil Bartlett, Margaret Atwood, James Kelman, Angela Carter and Julian Barnes. She is also influenced by the writings of theorists such as Judith Butler, Roland Barthes, Kaja Silverman and Marjorie Garber.
