My life has been a journey of many unexplainable experiences.  In my family the supernatural was the norm.  I'm not sure if it was because of my American Indian bloodline or if it was that my family was open to it with an awareness that was acceptable.  That's one of the unknown mysteries.  As the generations went on, the awareness grew stronger.
