I started writing when I was about eight years old, short stories, poems, letters, etc. but it wasn't until I moved to France eleven years ago that I began to find my inspiration. 

Working full-time as a translator/proofreader means that I have to really find extra time to write.  I wrote a counterfeit drug book eight years ago (which I am currently rewriting) and which no-one would publish.
