While living in the Caribbean Islands for almost 10 years, Elisha managed an art gallery, created decorative fabrics and organized musical events. She moved to Atlanta in 1998 and began studying fine art. Her art has shown in national and international juried exhibits, won several awards and has paintings on the cover of three published books, including her own.
The creation of Chiselism led Ms. Fields to research how this style fits into American Modern art history and led her to write this book: Chiselism and the Evolution of an Artist.
