I spent a summer working on a guest ranch close to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I loved my time there and actually was able to play out my childhood fantasies of being a real cowgirl. I tried to ride everyday and I learned a lot about western ways and how the authentic cowboys lived in the past. I also learned a lot about todays cowboys and although the work may be a little different in todays west the rugged heart of the real American cowboy is still there.
