I have been writing factual pieces for many years for publication, educational tutorials and websites. Four years ago I began writing historical fiction and recently launched my new novel and 3 children's illustrated short story books. The biggest influence in my fictional writing has to have been the late Dorothy Dunnett who 'married' factual events and characters with fictional ones.
