After writing for my own enjoyment for many, many years, I finally decided to take the plunge and put my work out there for the world, or whomever.
I've been hugely influenced by many sci-fi and fantasy writers. For my YA fantasy writing, J.K.Rowling tops the list as the most infuential author for me. For general fantasy, while he may be wordy, J.R.R.Tolkien will always be the man. And there are many others, such as Marion Zimmer Bradley, Tad Williams, etc.
