I was born in Pocatello, Idaho. Two years later my family moved to a small town in Oregon named Independence, Oregon. This is where I was raised until I was twenty-six years old. I moved to Salem, Oregon and have been residing here ever since.
When I was twelve years old I wrote a poem for my teacher. She read it out loud to my class and I've been in love with writing ever since!
