My grandparents were among the first Christians from India to settle in South Africa in the 1860's. Church and the Bible and preaching has been in my line for generations.

I qualified as a  Banker and became the first person of colour to be a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers of Southern Africa. Branched into Human Resources Management, working at executive levels at major Banks. Through all this time I served a church denomination as a lay (part-time) minister.
