Donald L. Karshner has had a life-long interest in developing critical thinking skills. He grew up in Columbus, Ohio and was educated in the Columbus public schools. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Education degree from the Ohio State University in Columbus, and taught school in Columbus.
