My parents were Greek and Turkish Cypriots and I was born in Nothern Ireland, moved to Cyprus when I was very little and then lived most of my life in England until I was 36. Then, my whole world as I knew it, came crashing down around me.

Life had not been easy living with two warring individuals who seemed to play out the turkish-cypriot conflict on a daily basis!

As a child, I experienced a lot of fear, insecurity, and powerlessness trying to be the arbitrator between two people who really did not want peace and could not be reconciled!
