I suppose you have heard this one before, but truly, I have been writing stories since childhood. First, children's stories - one was about a flea which befriended a fly and then the two friends began to explore the countryside. Next, I was writing romances where there was always a handsome prince or gypsy, and of course always a beautiful princess. Not one story was ever published: I was just writing for myself.
