R Lawson Gamble developed a love of the Old West on an early diet of Louis L'Amour, Roy Rogers and The Cisco Kid. A later fascination for the paranormal and supernatural further directed his writing. He tried his hand at opera singing, cutting diamond, acting, directing musical theatre, polling for Gallup, office management and more before becoming a teacher and administrator for 34 years. He feeds his spirit of adventure with climbing internationally, kayaking fresh and salt water, sky diving, and adventuring.
