Since boyhood, intrigued by reading, and the many books that my parents had in our bookcases, I wanted to write and chose journalism as a profession although my first love was fiction and poetry. Despite detours into accounting, theater, social service, two marriages and five children I continue to work as a journalist, novelist, poet and shortstory writer.
